This page will be the home of the 2017 Write 31 Days challenge. For me, and this blog, it will be home to a new collection, one that I hope all will enjoy and maybe find inspiration to create. Each day in the month of October, I will post a different project, each has a Fall theme, but can be adapted to any time of the year.
All items in this 31 Days will be 'One Day' projects, that is, each item can be finished in one day, you don't have to, and you can elaborate on each, but the idea is for busy Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, to be able to take an project and complete it in one day. The ideas that can be used for last minute decorating or costume ideas for those "...Oh, I forgot to tell you, Janie has a party tomorrow at school..." times. We have all had that one before!
Each will have detailed instructions, including shopping lists and normal, probably-have-at-home items, patterns, and pictures, and maybe a few videos. Project ideas that will give you a boost for Fall (and of course, with a bit of imagination, will work all year long)
Each craft will be do-able, even for a beginner, but even the most seasoned "crafter" will find a few new ideas and techniques! These can be made at home or in a small group. Some of these ideas have been tested with kids as young as six, and I can tell you, they had fun making as much as I did!
